"CNN's Anderson Cooper was back at work Wednesday after minor surgery two days earlier to remove a cancerous mole from underneath his left eye.
There was no indication the skin cancer had spread, spokeswoman Shimrit Sheetrit said."
"But I still have stitches and you'll no doubt notice them. ... Don't want you to think I got into a fistfight with Charlie Rose."
It's great that he's got a sense of humor about it. Even with the stitches, he'll be the hottest anchor on TV.

Posted: 3/20/08 at 5:08amCharlie Rose has a summer place in my neighborhood. He's self-absorbed and has never been seen without a wrinkled shirt and a rumpled copy of the New York Times under his arm. Very few people around here respect him.
