SO it was with GREAT excitement that I watched the new NBC series "Animal Practice." The show stars Crystal, the Capuchin Monkey who delighted us in Night at the Museum and The Hangover. But as we know, Crystal makes poor choices when it comes to the many projects she's offered and can't save this miserable turkey.
Playing against gender, Crystal was to play a monkey that may or may not be an actual veterinarian named "Dr. Zaius" but the show has been re-worked to focus more on the human actors (what a waste) and renamed "Dr. Rizzo."
There are some actors you know in it, but they are all terrible and overshadowed by the monkey. It is "House" with a veterinarian and a monkey but not as funny. I wish they would have simply cast Crystal as the new Doctor replacing the retiring Dr. House and kept that show on the air a few more years.

This is Crystal's best moment from the premiere: Fired from the Veterinary hospital, Dr. Rizzo packs his desk and prepares to leave.
