Why do people do horrible things to animals?
Today I heard about an absolute scumbag moron who put a firework up a cat's behind, and lit it. Obviously the poor cat was horribly injured...is that supposed to be funny????
I hope this jerk gets the same treatment one day.
That kind of thing really upsets me.

Just reading about things like this rages and upsets me to extremes. I am a big animal lover. There will always be cruel people. The best thing you can do is to support animal groups and help/volunteer and local shelters.

They know from doing research that insane mass murderers (like John Wayne Gacy) usually started by torturing animals.

This guy and others like him should be locked up - permanently - RIGHT NOW.

I've worked with a lot of animals that were victims of abuse cases. It's absolutely awful. And yes, it's proven that people who abuse others and committ crimes such as murder begin with abusing animals.

to me, it's the same as injuring a human. but that's me and my bleeding veggie heart. i can't comprehend why people hurt animals anymore than i can comprehend why they hurt people. they're just screwed up. check out the PETA website if you care to learn more about things we all can do to create animal awareness.
