So I've yet to pick up Anne Rice's newest book, JESUS (That's not the real title) and I'm just wondering...
How in the Hell did this woman go from Vampires and Witches to Jesus?
Do you think she'll go back to writing anymore Vampire Chronicles? I think with the death of her husband, who was her inspiration for Lestat, that she'll never write another novel Lestat as a character.

Thanks. I should've looked that up, or known.. I saw it last night and Borders.
Anyway, I've been reading a lot of the Chronicles lately, well, mostly her later books. My favorite is Blood and Gold. I started reading Blood Canticle, but couldn't get into it.
I think all the Witches are crazy and should just die.

The minor characters never really interested me that much. Merrick made me incredibly angry (Louis is my favorite character), and Memnoch the Devil was the last straw for me with regards to reading about Lestat.

I started reading Merrick in high school, but got distracted with other things and never finished.
I recently finished The Witching Hour, and some parts were a total bore, but it was okay.
My favorite character is probably... I dunno. Probably Nicholas.
