I'm auditioning for the part of Annie after Christmas, and I was wondering do you guys have any suggestions for some good audition songs?

Well, something that shows you can belt pretty high.

"Shy" is a bit overused, but at most auditions (mostly if your a kid) the casting directors want you to sing a song you're comfortable with-not particularly a unique song.

You should probably check out one of the compilation songbooks. They have one called Broadway Belters or something, and then there's the one that every kid has (which I let my voice teacher keep...now I have to remember what it's called...)

You should ask your vocal coach what she thinks suits your voice the best
