I just noticed that I whistle constantly. This started earlier this summer when I met an expert whistler and realized that I had lost my ability to whistle. So I kept practicing and now I whistle ALL THE TIME. It annoys the crap out of so many people, but I don't even know that I'm doing it!
I also do this other weird thing. You know how you cluck your tongue? Well, I do it with my bottom lip. It's weird. No one ever knows what I'm doing, but, yeah...
At the end of the school year I used to randomly start doing tongue stretches. That's when you really know you're an actor, huh, when you get the urge to do your voice warm up and don't even know you're doing it!
So, it's not just me, right? You all have these annoying habits too?
Sorry..none here.
I'm perfect...

Um...pop knuckles. I do it all the time. And when I stretch I can pop my ankles.
I can pop my wrists...does that qualify?
Shaking my leg...like bouncing it...hahah its a bad habit because people can feel the vibrations but its so hard to stop.
RLS - Restless Leg Syndrome. Strange but true. It is a diagnosable disorder. I suffer from it as well.
I also pop my knuckles, and ankles, and back, and neck, etc...
Oh, I do the leg thing too. Constantly.
I do the leg thing and I bite my nails (even sometimes 'till it bleeds) OUCH!!!
Leg bouncing is fuuuun. Especially in history class when you're bored...
I have a horrible memory and tend to retell stories over and over again.
Yes leg shaking is a diagnosable disorder. Dont remember the name for it, but both my sister and I do it.
I dont crack my knuckles but it is my biggest pet peeve. I cringe everytime i hear it.
I cringe when I hear cracking joints, but I think people are weird when they cringe after I do it. It's a double standard, but oh well.
I can handle all other body parts cracking - its just the knuckles. I was always told that they would swell if you did that continuely.
I forgot cracking my my fingers, toes, neck, wrist, and back. Ahh, but it feels soo good after....especially after waking up from sleeping.

no offense, but that makes me cringe. i hate when people crack any part of their body. a really annoying habit of mine would have to be shaking my knee or my foot when i get nervous or uncomfortable.
EXACTLY AZN JAI! Except I don't crack my neck, wrist, or back. Just the fingers and the toes.
I used to have the shaking leg thing, but it only comes back when I'm extremely bored or restless.

I do the leg thing sometimes; drives my mother insane. I used to crack my second toe, but I've learned to stop. I don't want arthritis when I'm thirty. I do have a tendancy to play with my hair, though. Updated On: 8/13/04 at 10:07 PM
I play with my hair (if it's long enough at the time) during tests, it's not like full on long hair, but think the old Michael Arden. Long enough to play with, but still short.
I've so gonna have arthritis by the time I'm 30, I have to tell myself to stop cracking various joints lol

My hair is shoulder length, which is the worst. It always gets in my face whenever I bend over or am writing something. Not long enough to throw over my shoulders, too long and thick for behind my ears. I can't stand it.
It's hard to stop, but it's worth it, AG. You really have to want it for anything to work, though.
I sing. Constantly. Broadway showtunes. And if im not doing that i practice my vibrato in random burst of noise.
I do that too, constantly. Ask my family, they yell at me at least 5 times a day so that I shut up. It's bad actually, I hardly ever stop.
yeah. My family cant wait for me to leave. one time my dad tried to top me by screaming funny, to show me "how annoying it is" I just grabbed him and attempted to do a can can dance, singing myself. He never tried that tactic again. he he he
HAHA! Yes, my dad has tried to stifle my singing, usually by singing back "world's noisiest son!!!" to the tune of whatever I just sang...it's very sad. I have to control myself though, if I'm doing a show, I have to stop singing and save my voice. It's damn hard though.
