Never had a Vodka Stinger until this afternoon. Dang! It's strong, but tasty.
It sounded Christmassy to me, because it's Vodka and Peppermint Schnapps (with a mint sprig garnish). 2 parts to 1.
Definitely put me in a festive mood, though, but with a little Stritch on the side.
I'll drink to that! Merry Christmas, everybody!

I'm a fan of eggnog, though I rarely ever encounter anyone else who cares for it.

I've had eggnog twice this holiday season and twice have gotten a terrible headache, I want to like it more than I do, I have to resign to the fact that dairy and I don't go well, especially mixed with alcohol. But I do love the taste of it!
Besty, I'll have to try a Vodka Stinger! That sounds so yummy.
I like to do brandy with some cinnamon schnapps on ice, very christmasy and very delicious

Brandy and cinnamon schnapps sounds great, ray! Yum!!
As for eggnog, I'm with you. I think it depends on what it's mixed with. The better the booze the better the reaction to it? (Maybe I'm kidding myself.)

I've been making Puerto Rican eggnog for the last 4 weeks. Last night I made my 3rd batch!!
It's called Coquito and it's spiced with rum. It's super delicious and perfect to celebrate tonight and tomorrow night.

PopAria, I loooove Coquito! In fact, that is one of the two eggnogs I tried this year. It's so good, but it makes me feel so awful afterwards even if I have just a glass.
Besty, I don't know about the better the booze, the better the feeling, maybe for some people. I don't eat cheese or dairy, not out of choice but because it makes my body feel terrible, so I think maybe it's just me. It sucks because I do love the taste of spiked eggnog!
I'll just stick to my brandy and Goldschalleger (sp), which is just F*CKing tasty!
By the way, I'm so all over this thread, nothing I love more than a good cocktail, and always looking for good Christmas cocktails. I have got to try a Vodka Stinger ASAP!
