I'd hate to attack someone's livelihood but I hope the tourist dollars start to fade away as people find better places to vacation. Who wants to go to a place where you can't give blood for a year afterwards? And then there's this BS. Let's all go to Curacao instead.
Never been to the place and hopefully never will. That was utterly disgusting to watch.
It reminds me of the account of a friend and colleague who grew up in Venezuela whose dad beat him mercilessly in front of his mom and siblings after he was discovered at 13 wearing acne medication which his dad mistook for makeup.
I don't mean to single out any particular group, but as an ethnic minority I don't hesitate to suggest that not all communities here or abroad warmly embrace any behavior that deviates from what those groups consider normative.
That aside, I don't have to be gay to understand that what was on display in that video clip was abominable.
I mean a friggin' lynch mob over some guy's interest in cosmetics.
I will bet anything that it will come to light the kid was using chapstick!
