I was given Welbutrin for post-traumatic disorder due to 9/11 and was on it for about a year and a half. It helped me a lot - but in the beginning the dose was too high and I didn't sleep for 24 days straight - talk about loopy. Then it caused me to lose a lot of weight and I was already fairly thin to begin with - but overall, I felt it really helped me over the hump of depression I was in at that time in my life. And up to that point I had always been very much against taking medicines of any kind - I'm one of those natural guys - rest, exercise, vitamins and whole foods - thats my way of life - but at that time in my life I was just so devastated and down, afraid of everything - so I decided to let the doctors help me and BOY am I glad I did!
