Any Lawyers on the Board?

Small legal question...

If someone owes me a significant amount of money, can I take that person to small claims court?

Idina: Somehow I got myself to the stage, came out at the end of the show, and I had some kind of closure.

My understanding is that it is based on the amount attempted to be recovered. But there actually are a couple of real lawyers who post during the day if you're seriously interested.

I'm just curious if it's an option...it looks as if that's the only shot I'll have at being paid back.
