I am absolutely addicted to this show - as dark and disturbing as it is. I think it is one of the darkest, yet well thought out programs on television.

Tonight's epoisode is said to be outrageous...(please no spoilers if you've already seen it).

Any other Nip/Tuck fans here? Curious to hear your thoughts on this brilliant piece of television...

I watched season two in its entirety in about two days (it rained that weekend!).

This show is so over the top, I often feel like a voyeur watching it!

One thing I particularly like about the show it is how in each episode, the "patient's" issue concerning plastic surgery mirrors something that is happening in the doctors' lives. And it's always something bordering on the bizarre...

Although, I can't stand the Matt character. He looks like Michael Jackson with a shaved head and a severe attitude problem. Every time he's on I get annoyed.

I'm all about it. Glad the slasher is back. Was wondering where the hell he/she has been.

Who do you think is the carver? I'm thinking the ex partner.

Originally I had speculated Matt as the carver (because of the whole Ava situation - beauty is a curse, etc.).

I think it could very possibly be Quentin. My other thought was Gina, but based on stature, it's got to be a man. From what I understand, it is a character we are familiar with.

My money is on Gina

And, for the record, I am in the minority of not liking the slasher storyline.

Yeh, the kid is annoying. And sometimes Dylan Walsh's acting gets on my nerves.
But I luzz Joely Richardson and that delicious furr-ball Julian McMahon!

This show is my guilty pleasure! And how hot was the scene with soldier!

Julian McMahon is yummy. I think he put on a few pounds this season, but damn, the man still looks fine.

I actually don't want to like the carver storyline (because it's a bit cliche), but I admit I think it adds a nice suspense layer...and I'ma always curious who the "next one" will be.

Julia is a complete emotional mess all the time. Thank goodness Joely can cry on cue. Good actress she is.

The carver now has Kimber! This should get interesting.

The soldier scene was HOT! Yum Yum yummy in my tum tum tummy.

The carver I think might turn up to be the drug lords assistan from season one?

Great theory. I overlooked that one. Quite a possibility. Hmmmm...I like that.

Okay, who was the fuzzy red headed guy that looks like Wallace from Wallace and Grommett? The one that almot married Kimber? THAT's who I think is the carver.

Can anyone tell me what happened last week? The wedding epi is the last one I saw. i am obsessed with this show, but I had to work extra hours last week.

Yeah, but the carver was more obsessed with Sean and the "work" he was doing. It wasn't until the final episode of last season that he got to Christian. Now the Carver's attention is focused on Christian. (The people closest to Sean) This has to somehow be related to vengence on Sean.

Maybe I'm just rambling and way off.

The fuzzy head guy is Bobolitt. Could be him too. So many of the chracters fit the profile - in different ways.

Re: last week's episode I need to rewatch it before tonight - I missed a good portion of it (thank goodness for Tivo).

Well, in the beginning, the carvings were unrelated. There was no contact with MacNamera/Troy until Sean started fixing the problems. It's probably someone we met after the first Carver victim was fixed.

I don't think it's Gina.

What was with Matt's modified mullet that first season? And I can't believe this whole "skinhead" thing they are starting.

I don't think it HAS to be. I mean, it's obviously a male voice and male stature, but they could change that.

If I remember correctly, Dr. Merrill Bobolitt (the red head doctor) died, so he is out of the running for the carver.

Does anyone ever really die on these shows? Doesn't entirely rule him out.

He died? I guess I missed that one. I know he was doing the bad bobotox and such and that Christian caught him. Why oh why do I love Christian so?

It can't be Sean or Christian. The Carver has attacked both of them. I don't think it will be the drug lord from earlier. It will have something to do with someone not being beautiful enough. Maybe that Jill Clayburgh character from season one? lol I am not sure that she would rape Christian, though. ahhhh, I want answers.

Someone told me that we will find out who the Carver is on 12/20. She's into reading spoilers, so....

Another theory, what if it's the son? That could be a possibility. I don't ever remember the son in the same scene as the carver. Is that possible?
