As a first year college student, I've already contemplated changing my major about 4 times at least (I think I've settled on an English major with drama and communication minors) and have changed what I "want to be when I grow up" at least 6. Right now I'm intrigued with the idea of being a drama critic for a national publication, but being from Kansas, I have no idea how to go about this. Does anyone have advice or information that could help me out? Seeing as I graduate in two years (I came in with 33 credit hours), my parents are anxious for me to seriously think about life in the real world. Thanks in advance!

The first step is to start convincing youreslf that you are better than everyone else and a few steps above the human race...
With my low self-esteem, that's not going to happen anytime soon. Seriously, I want to be a drama critic because I'm pretty disgusted with many of the ones out there right now. What is the point of running a terrible review of a show before it's even out of previews?! Not to mention a lot of critics in general are complete idiots.
