LOL... OK, so I downloaded Guido's alleged version of "Gesthemene," 'cause I was curious, and it is very clearly the London Revival Cast of JCS.
I've got to ask: Spidey, you didn't really think that was Guido doing some local production somewhere, did you? (Sarcasm is hard to read on posting boards, so I'm not sure if your admiration for the track was sincere or snarky...)
ETA: Because I've been asked in PM's, when I say it is clealry the London Revival Cast, I mean, it comes up that way in itunes, for goodness' sake! It also credits that particular track to Glenn Carter. And come on, that is obviously a full orchestra, not "only 6 people" as Guido (probably jokingly, to clue people in) said.

Kitzarina, I thought that was very good. I don't think you went flat at all actually. Your tone is pretty interesting, I like it.
Oh, and I noticed that too with Guido's Barrett's Song, I was like first of all this sounds exactly like Brian d'Arcy James, secondly if it were a live performance I don't think there'd be 5 seconds of silence after that great rendition of the song. I just didn't wanna say anything because it was awkward...

fish! fish all around! (and scarlet colored ones, too!)
Nice cover, Guido.
I'm still claiming total innocence. you'll never take me alive, copper!
That's under-the-covers copper to you!
Shh, we don't want EVERYone to know. *ahem*
Well... it's short... and it's a video clip, but hey whatever!

Fanadette--The only criticism I have is that a lot of your words ran together, so it was hard to understand what you were saying every now and then. Concentrate on enunciating more. Besides that, GREAT, GREAT job!
Spiderdj82-That's a funny criticism, which probably true for my pop music, but with my musical juries i always get yelled at for over enunciating!
Hahaha.
Oh. My. Gawd. I effing love your voice, spider! And I'm going to add that I've never heard the song, but I don't think you went off-key at all! I can't ever stay on-key for a whole song! I'm jealous!
Hmm...I have a couple of recordings. But I didn't do them a capella OR with instrumental accompaniment...I had to sing with the cast recordings 'cause I couldn't find the karaoke CDs the other day. And I'm a self-taught belter, so I pretty much suck. And I can't use Putfile or anything because it's not an MP3. (It should work in iTunes, but I don't know abour anything else..definitely not WMP)
Edit: I took "The Wizard and I" away. I like the other one better.
Raise The Roof (from Lippa's The Wild Party)
You have a gorgeous voice. Great job! Have you ever tried to sing an Ashley Simpson song? I think you would sound excellent doing one of her songs.
Aww, thanks! And no, I haven't. I don't venture much outside of showtunes. I'll think about it, though! =o)
Whee. Found a free audio hosting site, so away we go.
This is a song a friend wrote for me a few years ago.
Bwaysinger singing "Stay the Night"
I kid you not. When you sent this to me months ago, I listened to it over and over and over and over again. What a great song and vocal.
Bwaysinger, why the hell aren't you famous? Spidey, This may just because I'm so anti-Robinson, but I loved it.
I've been working on audition songs, I might actually post one and ask for some pointers.
You better young man.
And I COMPLETELY agree with you about bwaysinger.
So my summer's going to be a little odd. I'm doing Joseph. Then A Jazz Cabaret, Then A Jazz Dinner Theater Thingy. For the first Jazz cabaret I'm singing So In Love by Cole Porter and Misty(which I've sang a million times.) By I'm kind of lost on how too interpret/handle "So In Love". I need MAJOR help with it.
Maybe I am famous and you just don't know it.
Thanks for the comments. Some day, when I'm bored enough, I'll see if I can figure out how to record something from my computer, or else I'll make a friend record me the next time I sing "Suddenly Seymour" with Jerby.
Okay, come one. This thread needs to wake-up!
