Any opinions on the Sam Houston musical theatre program?

I hear that Katie Clarke was still attending the university when she landed the role of Clara in "Light In The Piazza." Still, that proves very little, and I was wondering if anyone here on BWW was a former student or has some friends opinions on the school. It's my number one choice, then comes Ithaca. I've given up on OCU, because my parents think it's too far *eyeroll*
