Anyone Else Waiting to hear from OCU Summer Music?

The first deadline was Jan 5th and they're gonna make their first admissions on the 15th. Anyone else apply and waiting?? I applied for the musical theatre program and hoping for the Les Miz program...but Pajama Game would be cool to!!

I have a friend who applied for early decision for OCU summer. I know she's anxious. And she wanted the discount for aplying early. I hope she gets in cause she would make a great Eponine or Babe!!

I had a friend apply. She said that they have a lot of submissions alredy for high school music theater. She is really hoping to get accepted because they don't accept everyone. It's not an easy program to get into.

Two girls from western NY have applied for BOTH the MT and Vocal performance sections back in November when OCU was here in Rochester holding their East Coast auditions, but NO ONE has heard a thing yet AND Monday is a legal holiday- no mail....

Here's info from my friend who applied: On Monday, they are contacting those who applied by email to let you know if you have been admitted or not. Gosh..these people work non-stop on the OCU programs..even on holidays!

Well, BOTH of the girls from Western NY just received word that they were accepted for the Vocal Arts Academy AND the second MT sessions!!!! YEA- there are two VERY happy young ladies and two very PROUD Moms right now!

Congrats Stonewall2! Those girls must be very happy :)

Unfortunately my friend wasn't accepted. She's only been singing for two years so that's probably the reason. She knows that it's hard to get into the OCU summer program, but she's happy she tried! i have another friend who's sending in their audition so maybe she'll make it!!
