Oh the poor poor people who attempt to rent Paul Haggis' movie and end up with Cronenberg's delightfully sick and gory ode to the sexualization of technology. I loved that damn movie.
Now there's a movie!!!
Before CRASH stole the Oscar from Brokeback, it stole it's title from the J.G. Ballard book and Cronenberg's movie.
Cronenberg must be PISSED.
And his film A HISTORY OF VIOLENCE is miles better than Haggis' CRASH. He must feel doubly robbed.
Blue... Cronenberg was more than pissed, and from what I understand he wrote a scathing letter to the producers letting them know exactly what he thought about it.
