I'm gonna try, but being absolutely broke might hinder my attempts.

I saw it when it came out last year. Don't expect much in the 3D department. It was pretty lame as far as that goes. But that's understandable considering it wasn't originally made to be in 3D. The action isn't really directed with the intention of anything jumping out at you.

But, it's still a wonderful movie and great to be able to see it on the big screen. Enjoy!

I have to say that, even though I'm not usually a fan of 3-D, I think it worked in this case because it was not originally intended to be in 3-D. Therefore, there was no attempt to "exploit" the gimmick by having characters throw things at the screen and whatnot.

It actually gave more definition to characters and gave the film an eery quality. The characters seemed so "real" despite you, intellectually, knowing that these characters are just puppets being manipulated. Plus, it was just awesome to see this amazingly beautiful film on the big screen, as I was way too young for it when it came out. I think I might see this every year. I was very impressed by it.

That's a good point. I wasn't looking at it in that way. I'm a 3D junkie and went in expecting something else. Good thing I lowered your expectations.

I always enjoy the film but it's really not much in the 3-D popping out at you department. However, it gives the film such depth, particularly any scenes on Moonlight Hill. You can see the distance between the hill and the moon, which made the whole scene look absolutely gorgeous.
