First time I seriously laughed at the show from beginning to end in ages.
Still. WHY are any of the four lead characters friends? There's something essential about actual friendships that the writers of that show have consistently lacked since the beginning.

by asking why they are friends..do you mean how did they meet? cause they did kinda cover that in one episode. will and grace, of course dated and were engaged for about 30 seconds until will found the nerve to tell grace he was gay. jack met will at a party i believe, not long after he realized he was gay and jack kinda helped him become more comfortable with being gay because after grace found out she was kinda heartbroken and upset and they didn't talk for like a year. i forget how karen came into the mix though...
i don't even know if that's what u were asking so i'll end it here

Posted: 12/4/03 at 11:51pmNo, I just mean these are four people who are cruel to each other and they pass them off as friends when there is no real reason for them to be friends. You can see why Patsy and Edina are friends on AbFab, but I have no idea why Will and Grace and Will and Jack are friends. Will is supposedly Grace's best friend. She confessed that she and her husband are having trouble and doesn't know what to do. He notices she isn't wearing her wedding ring tonight and he calls her a whore in front of a stranger. With friends like these....!

I thought every show was a repeat tonight. I didn't tape it.

Posted: 12/5/03 at 7:30pmNamo, to me Karen and Jack are great. Will and Grace are okay. I think, and also heard, in real life they particulary do not like Grace, she puts on airs. When I saw them on the Actor's Studio, it was apparent that Jack and Karen are very close but did not seem to have cameraderie with Grace. Sorry for using the character names.

TheaterBaby, same here! I'm kind of mad. It's okay, I'll get it next week.
Is Grace really back for good now? I wonder if they'll send her somewhere else later till Debra has her baby. I know something's going to happen with her and Leo. But I don't like it when Grace is gone.

Eric recently said in an interview that they were just going to hide her behind props, sit her down a lot, and make her wear black. lol
They did it for Elaine on Seinfeld, Daphney on Frasier, and C.C on The Nanny.
Debra is showing in her face though. She's been bloated on screen. But so what; everyone who doesn't live under a rock knows she's pregnant. I just find it ammusing to see just how well they'll be able to cover her up.

Posted: 12/6/03 at 8:16amI also thought this was funny. My favorite line was Karen's after Jack said "look it's Candice Bergen your worts enemy slash best friend." then she responds with "this is a nightmare slash delightful" that was just my favorite line in a funnier than normal Will and Grace.

Posted: 12/6/03 at 6:41pmfinding nemo- you mean you have never razzed any of your friends? thats the type of friendship/relationship they have... I thought the "whore" line was one of the funniest moments I'd seen on the show in awhile. All the Candace B jokes were hysterical and I loved the lesbian reference. It's nice when actors who play themselves allow the show to let them laugh at themselves, such as James Earl Jones did a few weeks ago. another funny episode.
