Anyone else at work today?

I am and I think ours is the only company in the building that is open today. Traffic was light, I've finished two projects, and most of my colleagues and staff took the day off.

I think perhaps I will be leaving early today.

Anyone else working today? Is it a skeleton crew as well?

my mom works in a doctor's office... they're open but she took the day off. my brother is working too. my o.t. place and the store where i take bass lessons are both open today too. i'm going to both places today lol

My boss - who works in another state - just called. He said do what needs to be done and get the 'heck' out of dodge. Gotta love a good boss like that.

At work, as usual. Tempted to flat out quit but then would probably have no references (been here too long).

Yeah, I am in today...and my boss is off...and it is quite busy, and I doubt they will let us leave early.

Nope. I work at a doctor's office and we have today and tomorrow off.

I am here until noon, I did have to go to Court at 9:00. I should fire my docket clerk.

Yes, I was supposed to work 10-3. I come in and find out we close at 12! Yay, so I get paid till 3 but only have to work till 12.

Thanks, RobbO. I think they key to success is taking frequent internet/rest breaks and copious amounts of diet Cherry Coke. It's not Vanilla, but it's decent.

I have work today, but I work retail so the only two days I'm guarenteed off are New Years and Easter.

i'm not there yet but i do have work today. i'm gonna work 2 hours today at my part time office job then i'm off to teaching swim lessons for 4 hours today. at least i get tomorrow off... thats a first, i had to work the past few 4th of july's so itll be nice to have this one off.

I am, but we tend to be open all the time and just have optional work days on holidays. I'm planning to opt not to work tomorrow.

Silly me, I got all the way here before I realized why the subway was so empty this morning.

I'm cleaning up after the housefull of guests I had this past weekend...which, in no way, is as bad as "moving," but I don't get paid for it either! re: Anyone else at work today?

My company is open, but I took the day off.
