I sure hope it's better than the book.
What a terribly written book FULL of missed opportunities.

I cannot WAIT for this movie.
It's one of my favorite books and Meryl Streep is always amazing.

Why can't you put the subject in the subject line?
"Anyone going to see..." is not the subject. "The Devil Wears Prada" is.
Excuse me.

I'm planning to see it.
I have a list of movies to catch up on, as well...

Posted: 6/26/06 at 7:04pmI wish I were a bigger fan of Anne Hathaway. She's the only thing making me think twice about seeing it. Thankfully, my love for Meryl Streep outweighs anything I feel about Anne. SO - yes, excited to see it.

otis, anne is hot. and she's named after shakespeare's wife. what's not to love? there's also this blurb from page 6:
Anne Hathaway says Stanley Tucci was a real hands-on guy when they made "The Devil Wears Prada." "He would just smack me in my boob and elbow me," Hathaway told journos at the New York premiere. "If you're a girl, you know that hurts, so, after about the fourth time, I finally said: 'Stanley, can you please stay away from my t - - s?' He got really flustered and said: 'What do you expect? You're flinging those melons around like it's harvest season.' "

Saw it tonight. Loved it! Thought it was fun.
Meryl Streep was perfect. I thought Anne Hathaway would bother me, but she didn't. Thought she was a good fit. I've never disliked her before, so don't know why I thought I might now.
Edited to change thread title.

I'm a huge Anne Hathaway fan. That said, I wasn't too sure about her in this role. ^^Makes me happy. I'm still really excited to see this movie. I'm going with some good friends tonight.
I actually hated this book, which surprised me. I think that it fits more as a movie, almost. Plus, who doesn't love Meryl Streep?

NathanLaneStalker must change the title of the FIRST post, not these later posts.
And it's sad when even my Granddad is excited to see this movie. He REALLY must love Meryl Streep.
