Anyone here started or planning to start a home business?

...Or just know a thing or two about starting a home business? I'm planning to run a home-based copywriting business - part-time at first and then full-time when I'm in a position to leave my 40 hr per week job. I'd like to know whether there's a book that's considered THE resource for running a home business, especially with legal issues in mind. Any leads? And any tips, just off the top of your head, on what not to do?
