Apparently it's playing at The Studio Theatre, has anyone gone and seen it yet? What's the staging like? I can imagine most productions will simply copy Hytner's in some way or another, it's pretty iconic at this point.
If anyone's seen it, please weigh in! I'm dying to know how it is!

Posted: 4/11/08 at 9:57pmI don't guess this really counts - but I saw the film, and I didn't care for it. I could never see the focus in the plot. Maybe it's something that you have to see on stage. I ANTICIPATED the movie, no doubt - but I was dissapointed... a bit. I didn't HATE it.

Chason,
The film can't hold a candle to the show. It isn't fair to fully judge the work based on how the movie is.

Agreed Winston. The film is like watching other people orgasm while the stage show is actually having the orgasm.
that was probably a bad analogy.
