Anyone interested in a Cat? [located in Shakespeare Book Store on 716 Broadway @ Washington Place]

I always went to Shakespeare Book Store this year to buy my books and half the time was pleasantly surprised to meet two cats, Agnes and Monty. After I commented on how cute Agnes was the guy asked me if I wanted her - I didn't think he was serious so I said yes, but when I realized he was I said I couldn't as it was against dorm policy. I went back with my mom at the end of May and she was still there but they are still looking to get rid of her. I can't take her because I've already got 5 cats in my house- and with 5 people, there's really no more room. I've grown really fond of her and don't want her to end up in some shelter and if she's not taken there, put to sleep. If anyone here is interested in a cat, or knows anyone who might be- think of Agnes? she's really cute and friendly!

so what's happening with Monty?

and if you have 5 cats and 5 people, I say take Agnes...one more can't hurt!

She is too cute!

As far as they let me to believe- they're keeping Monty. and I actually took my mom to see Agnes in order to consider adopting her - but the only room would be with me and my cat, Sasha, [who could pass to be Agnes's long lost mother as shown by the picture above] has a cat disease that I forget the name of and also doesn't like sharing me with other people- much less other cats.

Why in the world would he be getting rid of her and keeping the other one? Two cats are easier to care for than one. (If for no other reason than they keep each other company when you want to go away for a couple of days). I don't know if Tootsy would put up with having another cat in the apartment right now but I can't stand the thought of her going to 'the place'.

oh my God shh, my Fenwyck sits like that, although he modulates between wearing the same imperious face, and a face of wonder.....

Elphaba, I get so happy when she sits like that that I can't help but take photos nonstop. Here's a photo of Monty for S&G, he looks like one of my girls at home as well.
