I did not see ADA Borgia's death coming. I like Annie Parisse and am rather mad she's leaving the show.

I'm watching it. I didn't realize she would be leaving the show. Anyone know who's replacing her?

I had heard that she was coming back next season, but I didn't think they would kill her off. Law & Order is usually pretty mild in their exits of major characters, except for the time when they killed off ADA Kincaid. I guess after the horrible handling of ADA Southerlyn's exit ("is this because I'm a lesbian?") they felt they had to make the next one a 'good' one. Sorry, I have been watching this show for way too many years and am just too into it.

She was prosecuting a case where someone used fake DEA shields to commit a triple homicide. She made a deal with the guy who made the shields for the men and that man's family ended up being murdered. She was then herself kidnapped by the same men, and later found dead in the trunk of a car.

Thanks. I knew that she wouldn't be coming back next year, but I didn't see them killing her off. I can't wait to see who replaces her!

"This season, the assistant district attorney revolving door will see the exit of ADA Alexandra Borgia, played by Annie Parisse, who will reportedly try her last case in May. There's no word yet on who her replacement will be in the fall or how Borgia will make her grand exit, although nothing could compare to Elizabeth Rohm's "is it because I'm a lesbian?" moment last year"


I am also curious as to who they will hire. I wish she would have stayed, I really liked her, but apparently she quit the show...

Here's what I don't understand. Law and Order really goes through the ADA's. Usually (I kinda assume) they leave because they seem to have bigger and better things headed their way but I never see any of them in anything again. Well, that's an exaggeration, but they don't seem to do a lot in the business after leaving the show. It's kinda weird.

cat...I definitely agree with you. With the exception of Jill Hennessey, no other ADA has really gone on to bigger and better things (although one could argue for Carey Lowell and Angie Harmon because of their good looking husbands lol).

maybe since Conviction is being cancelled they'll bring back Cabot, only not to SVU.
when ducks grow thumbs then maybe my opinion will change.

i read in the same article i got the quote in my sig from that she has a role in adam rapp's new movie blackbird.
