One of my favorite shows.. Who is your favorite character and what's your favorite episode.
Mine is the weekend retreat in the country...with the levitaiting sheets and Mrs. Slocomb's petrified ****.
"But we're 'appy!"

PB, I TOTALLY agree
Salted, flavored and natural. Oh, I'm sorry, what was the question?
hmmmm....just wonder how many "inside legs" Mr. Humphries would be taking from this board. Ahhhhhhhhhh......
" Mr. Rumbold, kindly remove your X from my XX". (see Rob/Craig, I saved you the trouble of deletion.)

Did Mary-Ethel leave? I hadn't noticed.
How 'bout the night they camped out at Grace Brothers, due to inclement weather? ...And the "fire drill". and... the lunchroom crack -up about Mr. Peacock's recent boil on his butt removal.
....somebody stop me!
The ad they filmed for the supper club at the department store, after hours, to be shown at the cinema. Only the video doesn't work, and the audio makes it sound like some other kind of club...
Mrs. Slocombe is one of the greatest characters ever created in british comedy. I love the German Week episode.
I love them all!!! One that is sticking out in my mind right now it when they all have to be quarantined because Mr. Humphres has contracted a rare illness from eating unclean shellfish. I remember their special egg shaped suits they all had to wear. Hilarious! Also when they worked in the Children's department was a great episode!
Mrs Slocum is my fave of course...
my favorite line, when discussing burglars and home protection:
"At the first sign of trouble my ****'s hair stands on end". I also like any episode where they dress up...Mrs. Slocum as a young girls, the whole gang in Liederhosen, etc...
I love AYBS and wish I could say I love all of them. I kind of stopped liking it as much after Mr. Lucas left and was replaced by Mr. Spooner and the slew of older men to take over for senior sales assistant, and Old Mr. Grace. Some of these characters towards the final season seemed to be trying too hard to replicate other characters and not doing as good a job. I still love it though
