Posted: 1/6/12 at 3:11pmThis stripping of houses is not unique to Detroit. It is happening in even the most upscale cul-de-sacs loaded with McMansions and formerly populated by caucasians with no taste. Or money, anymore.

Posted: 1/6/12 at 5:04pmI agree. It started off with nebulous terminology and only got worse, and I did nothing to help things. Let's start with the thread title and come to the understanding that all discussers in all discussions have a bias. That's the nature of human beings.

Posted: 1/6/12 at 5:13pmSounds like Detroit could use a gay invasion to start boosting those property values and sprucing up the place then start flipping the properties in 10 years to trend-seeking Yuppies for double the price. We could add Detroit to the Gay Agenda.

There's a gay community here and it's great but that doesn't make it immune from (or the ultimate solution for) the city's major issues of poverty, drugs, and violent crime.
