I'm having trouble finding an appropriate monologue to audition with for the role of Jack in "Into the Woods." Does anyone have any suggestions? Anything is greatly appreciated :)

A thread about this same exact topic was posted a while back.
Maybe you could get more info. by looking for it in the "search feature", located into the upper right corner.
Or by looking in the thread pages.
:)
Hope you find what you need!

Maybe my search skills are just awful because I certainly couldn't find anything on the topic. There were however many other audition discussion for other characters in the show, but not Jack.
If anyone has any ideas/suggestions please let me know!

I'm still having a difficult time finding material. That link provides information on how to play the character. That's not necessarily a concern right now.
Does anyone think that a monologue from You're A Good Man Charlie Brown in the role of Charlie Brown is too young to audition with for Jack?

hi-
Don't use monologues from musicals. If you do indeed need a monologue for this audition which is odd cause Jack is an important singing character so I hope you've choosen a good audition song as well. But, look at coming of age material in plays and books. Look at "The Catcher in The Rye" or "Perks of Being a Wall Flower" or perhaps "Dog Sees God". some of those are books but that is completely acceptable to use as monologues. good luck!
