Audition Song - A New Brain

I'm auditioning for my first show at college soon and the audition is actually for the first 3 shows they're doing (A New Brain, The Wedding Singer, and The Laramie Project). I don't have a very good pop voice, so I'm want my audition song to be more geared toward A New Brain - I don't think I'm going to get a named role but I like to have a character in mind when picking an audition song. So, I'm trying to find a song that's not overdone that would be a good audition song for the Waitress/Nancy D. (the nurse). Help please! I was thinking of It's a Privilege to Pee from Urinetown, but I think that would be more of a song for The Homeless Lady
