I have an audition in the next month for the Scarlet Pimpernel....I am a tenor and trying out for Armand St. Just....What song should I go with?

Some ideas...
"Love can't happen" from Grand Hotel, it's a baritone's song but still think it's very suitable. "Out there" from Hunchback. "No Moon" or "Barrett's Song" from Titanic. Title song of Sunset Boulevard although make sure your accompanist if up to it. "Take me to the world" from Evening Primrose, yes it's Sondheim but the accompaniment is fine to sight read and it's a great ballad. "An ordinary guy" from Amour. "Proud Lady" from Bakers Wife. "Falcon in the dive" from Secret Garden. "What am I doing" from Closer than ever.
Stay away from the obvious, Jekyll & Hyde, most other Wildhorn, etc.
JIJane-- "Falcon In The Dive" is actually from The Scarlet Pimpernel, and it's a baritone song. Just wanted to clear that up!
Armand doesn't have much to sing in the show, but I would recommend an upbeat ballad to sing, something slightly contemporary sounding. I really liked most of Jane's suggestions!
Good luck in your audition!
