Auditions for Carrie the Musical

Hi! A theatre in my community is doing Carrie and I really want to be a part of it. It is my all time favorite show. I really want to impress and I need to pick a song suitable for my age (16). I have a range of Baritone 1 to Tenor 2 and I am tipically a character actor. Any help would be great. Some things I have been pondering are "I'm Alive" from Next to Normal and "Rent" from Rent. Any help you could give would be amazing!

For performing Carrie, You must have lyrical sweetness as well as fierce power. It also requires mesmerizing presence and extreme stamina. I would recommend singing “Nothing Short of Wonderful”! It will be best for audition.
