When did this start. WHen you think about it it's kinda strange how in demand it is to get a signed bit of paper by someone famous. I guess it's like proof you met them or something. It just is a strange thing that has caught on...

Yeah, I've never really got the idea of autographs. Personally, I like the Playbill better when it hasn't been signed.

I will get an autograph if it is a performer who I highly admire. I mostly go to the stage door to thank the actors though.
