Avatar troubles

I was trying to change my avatar, and when I hit the upload button, I got this:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: imagefontwidth() in /home/bway/public_html/mcleod/phpthumb/phpthumb.class.php on line 1712

Then I tried to upload the one I had just before again, and I got the same message.

Anyone know what it is?

A few people's avs seems to have magically changed into red xs. I have only a very faint idea of what that error message means, but I doubt it's anything you did, Emcee.

Yeah, one lingering problem from last night's server upgrade. Should work again now though....

Yeah...mine still isnt working. You see it in the Who's Online feature, but it doesnt show up by my posts. Do you know whats up?
