I'm familiar with its songs, but I'm having trouble thinking of something to sing for the audition.
I guess if I were to be considered for anything, it would probably be Diane.
I mean, are you a soprano or alto? Belter? If you can specify a bit I think I could help :)

I just did BARE at my college (Vassar) and it was legitimately the most amazing theatrical experience I've ever had. It's an incredibly moving show... and SO much fun.
A lot of the people who auditioned for our production used regular non-theatre pop-rock songs. I'm not sure if that's a no-no at your theatre, but I would find out, given the general sound of the show.
And DON'T sing "Mama Who Bore Me." About nine million people used that at our auditions...
Is it a student production or an all-ages production? If it's a student production, have you thought about going for Claire? She doesn't necessarily have to be a belter; she just has to have a strong concept of dynamics (otherwise Warning is the most boring song EVER).
Again, good luck, and I hope you get cast. For all its flaws, it's a fantastic show.

artyj: Cool, I figured just as much lol. I too, am pretty excited. Good luck, by the way.
lilprima: Don't worry, I never had the intention of singing Mama Who Bore Me...I know better, though SA songs were the first that I could think of and then I had to cross it out of my mind lol.
It's all-ages...a community thing. Anyway, I figure if I do get cast that I'd be Diane because I'm Asian...if I don't I want to ask if I can be part of the crew...I just love the show and would love to be a part of it in any way.
Glad to hear that it was a great experience for you...and thank you =)
