Hey everyone,
Im 16 and have recently started seriously considering my college options. I know that I want to go to college for theatre but once I started researching, the amount of BFA and MFA programs surprised me.
I'm looking for a bit of help from all of you. I'd love to go to college in New York City. I was looking at tisch school for a BFA program but have also heard a lot about Boston Conservatory, Michigan, among others.
I'm not sure if it helps or not but I am a professional actor in toronto and have a large resume and a lot of experience.
I hope that you can give me some insight,
Thanks!

Those are all great schools. NYU's Tisch gets a ton of attention because it's right in NYC but one tricky thing about that program is that THEY assign you to one of the schools in the program based on your audition, you don't get to pick or switch options. Boston Conservatory, University of Michigan, and Carnegie Mellon are acknowledged as the three top musical theater schools in the country but are extremely difficult to get into. However, you should go wherever you feel comfortable regardless of the difficulty.
