What does a second Bush presidency promise - more wars, more tax cuts for the rich, no chance of raising the minimum wage, gay rights being thrown out . It makes me ashamed to be an American.

Funny. When I saw Rodney's picture he just posted, all I kept thinking was how much it reminded me of G W last election an how he'll look when Kerry wants to have votes recounted in various states. What will be fun to watch is how hypocritical the Bush administration is when this scenario takes place.

I didn't say that. I'm saying if Giuliani does, you can kiss Rath goodbye. I put up with him way too long as mayor. I can't even imagine the disaster he would be as president.

The latest from CNN re: Ohio
Ohio Secretary of State Ken Blackwell issued orders for counties by 2 p.m. Wednesday to report total numbers of provisional ballots. Counting of those ballots will not begin until Thursday, according to Blackwell's directive.
It is not clear how long the ballot-counting will take. Initially, Blackwell said the counting of provisional and absentee ballots would not begin for 11 days.
He said he could not immediately put an estimate on the number of those ballots but said 250,000 might not be out of the realm of possibility.
While he said the exact number of provisional ballots was unknown, he said it is "trending toward 175,000."
Blackwell suggested that "everybody just take a deep breath and relax."

craig, even if there's 250,000 provisional ballots and 100% of them are legit, kerry would have to get 78% of them to win it. going by their last election in which 90% of them turned out legit, his number's up to 81%.
if on the other hand it's on the low end at 175,000, kerry'd need 86% and 90% of them respectively to carry the state.
