BWW Cookbook

Bulldog beware--I sense a trap! BWW Cookbook

How do you want us to submit our receipes--we can't put them in a thread--that would defeat having the book.

BTW, did I miss what the money we raise is going for?

Also did some thinking about "Namo-Hamo". I have a wonderful soup receipe. Full of beans and bit of ham. BWW Cookbook

re: BWW Cookbook

I guess the best way to send the recipes to either me or Bulldog is by PM.

There's no trap involved. Anyone who looks as good as Bulldog does in his logo should be wined and dined regularly.

No Hairspray? I couldve gotten a few people there to contribute a recipe.

Hairspray's as good as anything else. Go for it, Mistress. If we start banning plays, the board will implode...and "poof"...no fundraiser.

BroadwayBulldog, do you think Marc Shaiman is going to contribute a recipe with you banning Hairspray?
If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: BWW Cookbook

I'm only interested in associating with a classy cookbook. Yep, I'm gonna be a snob. I've no interest in anything with recipies called "Turnblad's Tuna Trifle," or "Millie's Marvelous Mocha Mousse," or "Ragtime Risotto," or "Bat Boy's Blackbottom Buns." No, thank you.

Now I envision something like:

Gnocchi a la Guido
Cunegonde's Coulibiac
Dolly's Delightful Dumplings
Fanny's Blintz's
J. Pierpont Finch's Golden Eggs
Passionella's Passion Fruit Ice Cream
Eliza's Scones
Higgin's Heavenly Haggis

bww cookbooks

Well, dearest Dollypop, when would you like the submissions to begin?

And of course, in the adult category, one must include recipes that contain alcoholic stimulants. Be they recipes for cocktails, appetizers, entrees or desserts the booze is the thing. Or it really wouldn't be a reflection of our taste, would it now?

re: bww cookbooks

Perhaps Barrymore's, as the site of the first get-together, will contribute a recipe. Chili gets my vote.

re: re: bww cookbooks

I was wondering about drinks too. I have a few that I'm sure drink recipes that are quite enjoyable.

Also, if we want to make a donation for the privilege of having our recipe included, maybe we could mail our donation to the foundation itself and send either Dollypop or Bulldog a copy of the receipt we get for tax purposes. This way we could save them the trouble of forwarding the money for us.

As for the walk itself, if someone could start a thread for those participating, those of us who can't go can pick someone from the list to sponsor. Of course, if you're all walking as the broadwayworld team, it wouldn't matter.

The inclusion of drinks is a good ida. Shall we inaugurate an "Alfred P. Doolittle" section?

Maybe we can get recipes for the drinks that they used to serve at Cabaret. I remember they had some specific character drinks.

Does anyone have the recipe for something called "King Stevos is a Hot Tamale"? I've heard say it's very good!
