Let's make a BWW list of favorite artists. I'll go first.

Fleetwood Mac. Can I find the words to accurately describe the honeyed purity in some of Stevie Nicks' best tracks? Doubtful.

Dreams - http://youtu.be/7RgT8Vm9_Eg
Landslide - http://youtu.be/VokU42PumEA

As for honeyed purity Miss Mary Travers was tops as well. Hell, they were all sublime.

Jetplane - http://youtu.be/Qc-7SnMnX78
First Time - http://youtu.be/dTFJxM3m-lY - obsessed with this!

Who are some of your favorites?

Don McLean: I enjoy American Pie, but I absolutely love love LOVE Vincent. It's a beautiful song and the lyrics just flow so wonderfully.

Vincent defines the summer of 1972 for me. I had my first high paying jobin high school working in construction (basically hauling sheet rock and leveling basement floors. This song was the soundtrack for that summer.

Vincent is one of the greatest. I can't believe there was a time when these songs were the norm rather than the exception - where you could hear these on something other than an 'oldies' station
