You could have napped, Plum. People near us were.

re: BWW NYC Picnc -- Sunday, July 31st

I saw them when they arrived which was before anyone populating our blankets arrived.

The sleeping couple laid down their large backpacks, opened several neatly wrapped sandwiches and at lunch. Then they cavorted a bit, he had his shirts unbuttoned with both sides flapping in the wind. She was crawling all over him. Then they pulled out the covers, covered themselves and went to sleep.

We left them still sleeping 5 hours later.

As if seeing me in real life wouldn't have been disappointing enough, you think I should have come and slept? Tsk.

re: BWW NYC Picnc -- Sunday, July 31st

just want to say i had a lot of fun and i wish i could have talked to some of you a little more. Ahh there is always the next picnic. Oh man i don't think i'll forget teh weird things i saw today for a long while. i am still confused over why someone would dye their dog blue.
"At the opening night party, they had clowns on stilts, jugglers, a chocolate fountain, popcorn, hot dogs. [My son] looked at me like I had been holding back. Like, 'This is what you do?' I had to tell him, 'No, no, darling. Opening nights don't usually look like this.' It's usually a dark bar with a bottle of vodka." ?Chitty Chitty Bang Bang's Jan Maxwell plus i proudly share the title of the shortest member over the age of 10 with wickedrentq!

Listen woman, I had this babysitting gig lined up way before I decided not to go to the picnic. It was merely a coincidence I remembered after I decided not to come...

Yes, yes, I've heard it all before...and you will speak to your Auntie with respect, missy.

I'm usually always nice to her, but sometimes we have to perform when people are listening.

Hi everyone!!! Made it home in great time. Yes you folks missed a grand time and some awesome Carol Channing stories. I think I may never eat corn ever again!
"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen." Conan O'Brien

I had a great time today. I don't think I can ever look at corn the same way again after today. Thanks for a wonderful time all!

re: BWW NYC Picnc -- Sunday, July 31st

Just got back a little while ago...

Looks like we missed some fun stories after we left. Oh well Chitty was cute, and I loved Chicago again for the second time, much better Billy Flynn and great cast. Also got to tell Charlotte how great she was in Charity.

Bwaysinger-nice to meet you for a brief second, and I loove your doggie.

Boobs-sorry I didn't get the chance to see you again, but still glad I had the pleasure a couple of other times.

Bluemoon-like I said, glad to see you and know who you are this time.

Zippyjen, Elphiedefiesgravity-I think we should start a short girl club w/ Emcee, it was fun chatting with you guys, especially Zippyjen who I briefly talked to a bit on PMs and glad you know my name now lol. Sorry about no Raul at chitty, unless he came after we left?

Everyone else I really didn't talk to much, wasn't there too long unfortunately, but it was nice putting faces to names and personally I was quite happy to clique off into old ppl and young ppl since the last time I went the person closest in age to me was 5 years older, so some can see I actually talk. But it was nice to see you all and I had a good time in my brief time there.

Liotte-oh Thenardier and I were saying we wanna meet up with you, I was telling him how you're actually louder and talk faster than I do and is crazier at stage doors, not too many ppl who can compete w/ me esp. in talking re: BWW NYC Picnc -- Sunday, July 31st

I still want a jamba juice...

"If there was a Mount Rushmore for Broadway scores, "West Side Story" would be front and center. It snaps, it crackles it pops! It surges with a roar, its energy and sheer life undiminished by the years" - NYPost reviewer Elisabeth Vincentelli
