Bachelor party in NYC - suggestions needed

I hope you get to sneak away for a matinee of SPELLING BEE.
I can't imagine a NYC trip without a show.

My suggestion is that you convince your brother to stay single.

Why MUST the straights hit a "gentlemen's club"...shame on the poor bride for even putting up with that archaic, somewhat misogynistic and disrepectful 'tradition.'

My husband didn't WANT to go to a "club" (I refuse to use the word "gentlemen's" for that kind of establishment). He said that he didn't see the point of people getting all worked up with nothing to do about it. It is pointless and in his opinion a form of cheating. He told his groomsmen that it was a party for him so he was calling the shots. They were all old army buddies who hadn't seen each other in a few years because of deployments or getting out and moving all over the country, so he decided he wanted to just sit around, hang out and drink and talk. They had fun and there was no stress on my end when I had to decide which groomsman to yell at first on the day of the wedding.

Go see a show, if that is not their "thing" then go to a bar, go to some place like Dave and Buster's and act like idiots there. Don't disrespect his soon to be bride by having some strange women grind all over him. That is an AWFUL way to enter a marriage. Talk about a bad message to send. "Well if I am going to spend my life with only one woman I HAVE to have other naked women rub all over me. It's tradition!!"(eye roll)

I was figuring people in NYC could give us suggestions as to where we could go with about a dozen guys...is that really wierd? I'm assuming a good portion of those on the board know the area well...that's all.

I do plan, though, to schedule free time for the group in the early afternoon on that Saturday so I can run off and see a show!
