Backstage.com - scam or not?

Hey guys, just a quick question....so I'm familiar with the magazine...have gotten it a few times and just thought I'd try out the online subscription...however I think it's a waste and not worth it and want to cancel....yet am having trouble finding HOW to do so---I'm worried it's a scam and they have my credit card info---how do I cancel? The contact email/phone number isn't working...

help?

In the upper right of the home page, CLICK on CONTACT US. Then CLICK "CANCEL SUBSRIP", then follow the instructions. If it's a legit site, they'll answer you...if not, it probably IS a scam, and there's not much you can do.

there's only an email form to "cancel" but i haven't heard back. of course, i only sent it a bit ago. unfortunately the 800 number for customer service is past hours because it's later now. i'll try tomorrow.


anyone had prior experience with it? i thought it was legit due to the printed copies...

Try clicking on my link provided in the above reply, since it gives both NY and LA addresses AND phone numbers.

Thanks so much for your help. Yes I had already called that number earlier and nothing...but the 800 customer service number was already closed for the day when I tried earlier so I will try tomorrow.

I'm sure I'm just freaking out and it's find because I'm pretty sure they are legit.

I was just surprised because new posts for auditions were barely updated it seemed so I figured it wasn't worth it.
