Bad idea of the day: new Wizard of Oz "sequel"

..starring Dakota Fanning as Dorothy's granddaughter, in the present day. It's not based on any of the Baum novels. According to their producer, "You've still got Dorothy trapped in an odd place, but she's much closer to the Ripley character from Alien than a helpless singing girl."

Yikes.
