Bad review of POLAR EXPRESS- Page 3

actually it's not like lord of the rings came out *then* they made htis film... they were likely made at the same time, or polar express *before* lotr. i'm seeing the film this weekend, and have been anticipating it for a while. it was my favourite book as a kid. as far as cool Christmas movies go, i second the Snowman and Muppet Christmas Carol, and third A Christmas Story ("electric sex, gleeeeaming in the window!" "you'll shoot yer eye out, kid!"). i also have to say i really enjoy "the gingham dog and the calico cat," just because i've always watched it since i was a youngin. oh and the claymation movies from the sixties rule... put one foot in front of the other... and the animated grinch of course... yes i've seen prancer many times, and while it is SUPER corny, i often times find myself enjoying it. cheers!
