I'm having a really hard time choosing my ballad for college auditions. My up-tempo is a perfect, comedic acting piece that goes up to a high A. But now I'm trying to find a ballad that shows off my lower notes (I'm a tenor 2) and my money notes (high F and F#). My voice teacher thinks I should do Santa Fe from Newsies, because she said its the best she's ever heard me sing. Which I suppose is pretty nice, since I've been taking with her for four years. But I want to explore my options. Anyone have any suggestions for little old me? I have a few requirements that I'm trying to meet though.
I'm looking for a piece that's climax note is high F or F#. Those are my golden, belting notes so to speak that I really want to try and showcase. I have a pretty low range that I would want the panel to see too. But its not really shown in my uptempo piece. So the lower it goes the better.

I want to apologize for some offensive messages posted on this board under my name. The night 0f 12-15-08 I did not have internet access, and someone had used my name to post something offensive. My avatar was also changed. I dont' know what else was posted, or if anyone recieved bad PMs, but I want to apologize for that. I've changed my password, and even though I was not the one posting these messages it still needed to be corrected.
