I'm all for the prtoection of animals. But I'd eat an animal anyday if I wanted.

I thought having the chicken aisle look like a funeral was funny. But I suppose the PETA people wouldn't find it funny that I love to eat meat.

But you know that meat sat there all day while they were filming, breeding salmonella and got thrown away. Isn't wasting the meat an even bigger issue than it getting eaten? lol I hate how my brain works.

The article doesn't actually say the commercial was banned, just that it was rejected by various networks for being offensive. Which it is, really: it's essentially calling all meat-eaters murderers.

If this were a religious ad, it'd be insulting your religion and asking you to convert. I wish PETA would respect omnivores as much as they demand respect for vegetarians.

Hey, no problem. It actually got me thinking about ads that have been banned. Were those controversial Calvin Klein ads from way back ever banned? I'm a pretty ho-hum guy, and even I felt I needed to take a shower after watching them.

It's a pretty dull and unimaginative commercial.

While I do not believe in trapping animals for fur, I love meat and wear leather (lotsa, lotsa leather...oh baby!)
