Bat Boy COMBO Millie Audition HELP

I'm auditioning for Bat Boy and/Or Millie on sunday (Its a summer program that does two shows at once, you are in one or the other. Bat Boy is the more exclusive one.)

I want to either be Ms. Dorothy in Millie or Shelley in Bat Boy, but I can only do one song, and they do not ask on the audition sheet what part you are going for.
I originally decided to sing Green Finch from Sweeney Todd and just audition for Miss Dorothy, but now Shelley is looking better and better.

Would Green Finch be an alright song for Shelley? Suggestions?

Unless you have been performing it for years or worked on it with a voice teacher for a very long time and truly perfected it, Green Finch is pretty much never the right song for an audition, and definitely not for Shelley, which is much more of a mezzo belt role. I'd dpick a song to show your belting range.

So I sang Green Finch, and it went pretty well. The musical director gave me props for singing Sondheim, and I think I did really well at the reading. Feeling good about it!
We find out tomorrow if we get a callback, I'm a nervous wreck!
