I was broke an ordinance of the city of Chicago that I wasn't aware of. Ignorance of it afforded me no protection, so I'm not sure why this dude thinks his ignorance of law should afford him any.

To our knowledge, the Sheriff’s office was never contacted or told that the law was not enforceable or prosecutable.
So basically, the Sheriff and the other police offers all involved in this "sting" were unaware of Federal law? And somehow that is supposed to be a reasonable explanation for arresting men who haven't even broken an invalid law. I guess they'll start arresting black men next for saying they would like to marry a white woman.

No, but we all believed that in college when we'd buy weed that if we asked, "Are you a narc?" that they'd have to tell us the truth.
But like Namo said, sting operations depend on this kind of thing.
I'm much more interested in the way the mods are deleting complaints about the socks and trolls but not the socks and trolls themselves. Curiouser and curiouser.
