I haven't seen this movie since I was little. It's probably been about 12 years, and i turn on the TV and there it is on the Hallmark Channel! I had no idea it was about Nazis or who Angela Landsbury was at the time. I'm just in a little bit of shock, so i figured I'd post it. :)
Oh of my all time favorite movies.
I loved this movie. I have to see it again sometime.
One of my all time favorite Disney movies.

I don't remember a thing about it, but as I watch it I keep going "OH YEAH.. I USED TO LOVE THIS PART" loving this!
i haven't seen it since it was in theatres, but i used to listen to the album all the time. it wasn't as good as POPPINS, but it was still fun in its own way. would love to see it again and see what i think of it all these years later.
"Portabello Road. Portabello Road"
i saw this movie 4 times on a flight to London. i love it.

Disney should retool it a bit and put it on Broadway.
I really liked it too, but I always liked and watched Mary Poppins more.
I do remember liking the lion part though. Ooh, and I used to have a bunny who looked exactly like the bunny that Mr. Banks turns in to!
Oh I used to have this movie taped on video!
Treguna Mekoides and Tracorum Satis Dee...
*chants*
This is, without question, my favorite live movie musical. I could watch it until *insert bad metaphor here*
I, too, love this movie.
LOVE when she's learning to ride a broom...great film.
And also has a really good, albeit not as famous, Disney song "The Age Of Not Believing".
I love that song, and this movie. It's amazing. The end of the movie always used to terrify me as a child.
Great film! I have very fond memories of seeing it in a movie theatre as a child.
And it won the Oscar for its special effects... plus was nominated for Art Direction, Costumes, Score and Song (The Age of Not Believing).
I agree that with a little retooling, it could be GREAT on the stage.
I also remember the book was good: "Bedknob and Broomstick." (I don't know why they pluralized it for the film!) It was actually a combo book by Mary Norton of "The Magic Bed-Knob" and "Bonfires and Broomsticks." She also wrote The Borrowers.
