Posted: 7/7/12 at 11:33amI thought the acting was great. I'm just trying to picture how they pitched the concept of this movie. It was definitely very different and Malkovich was a good sport. danmag- I kept picturing his monologue from the Christmas episode from snl!

I loved the movie when it came out and especially enjoyed Catherine Keener and Mary Kay Place. Haven't seen it in years, though. The concept was clever and Malkovich was terrific.
I agree with everyone about the Siri ads. Creepy! I may even dislike the Malkovich commercial more than the Deschanel one.

Posted: 7/7/12 at 5:19pmI was obsessed with this film when it first came out. I haven't seen it in years, but this tread has made me want to watch it again. I still think it's Cameron Diaz's best performance. It may be a little heavy handed, but I think that was part of the charm for me (if that makes any sense at all).

Posted: 7/8/12 at 3:23amTo say Charlie Kaufman is a brilliant director would be putting it lightly. I absolutely love Being John Malkovich as well as Synecdoche, New York which you should look at. Talk about a mindf*** of a film...
