What are the best musical theater schools that have a tuition rate under $35,00? Any help is much appreciated!

I love the University of Alabama's program because if you have the right grades you can get into the school for absolutely nothing. The program itself is amazing and it has many notable alumni. With this school if you get into the program there is this thing called academic common market where the schools in the surrounding states can get a scholarship for being in the program with a certain ACT score.

I currently go to the University of Texas at Arlington and I could not be happier!! I have learned more here than I have in my last two years at other colleges. Tuition is really cheap and everyone is super inviting and knowledgeable.

In-state tuition for CCM is around $28K. In-state tuition for Michigan is around $29K. In-state tuition for Penn State is around $31K. (Your best bet will probably be finding your state school that has the strongest theatre program, like SUNY Purchase in New York or CCM in Ohio, and applying there.)
There are a lot of schools with tuition rates under $35K, but when you add in housing and activity fees, your annual cost ends up being more like $45K. Schools that fall under this umbrella include Shenandoah, Baldwin-Wallace, Milliken, and Elon, amongst many others.
