What is the best hotel room view you have ever experienced when staying at a hotel?
I love hotels.
The Wynn (NV)- We had a view of the golf course behind the resort--we were staying in the tower suites.
Beverly Hills Hotel (CA)- Surrounded by a lot of flora in the Bungalow
Enchantment Resort (AZ)- Our casita had a great view of Boynton Canyon
The Broadmoor (CO)
The Alex (NY)-Chrystler Building and other sky scrapers
Hotel Lancaster (Paris)
Hotel Plaza Athenee (Paris)
Worst:
Inn of the Anasazi (NM)
The Dorchester (London, England)
What's yours?

Every time I stay in a hotel, I always wind up with a view of the building next door. I swear, it doesn't matter what city I'm in or what floor I'm on, it's always the same thing.
I've gotten to the point where I've started documenting the 'views' in a scrapbook. :)

Posted: 5/13/07 at 8:43pmA few weeks ago I stayed at The Bryant Park Hotel in NYC at 40 West 40th. Beautiful view of Bryant Park with the trees just coming into full leaf, and glimpses of the East and Hudson Rivers at either end of 40th Street. Only problem - I stayed during the week and at 7:15 on Thursday morning the local construction starts up, jack hammers and all. Might have liked it better on a Sunday morning. But loved the hotel, and the view.

I must say I really like this view from the Marriott Marquis, but I have had some better views in other places.

For our trip to Italy a year-and-a-half ago, we made a reservation at a hotel on the Piazza del Duomo, however, we requested the triple room without a view because it was significantly less expensive than the one with a view. When we arrived, we were shown to the triple room with a view. (Apparently someone reserved the other room after us so we were bumped up.)
It was incredible. The baptistry was, quite literally, right outside our window, just a short distance across the piazza. The Duomo was to the right. In the afternoons, we would come back to the room with wine and cheese in hand, open up the French doors, and listen to the sounds of the piazza. It was magical.

The Hassler in Rome overlooking The Spanish Steps and all of Rome, Trump International in NYC overlooking Central Park, and the Intercontinental in Athens overlooking the Acropolis are my favorites.
My favorite hotel of all is the Peninsula Beverly Hills... magnificent!!!
